RENEWAL COURSE
 
Congratulations on having a CCW Permit in California. Now, don’t forget to have it renewed in a timely fashion. Our renewal class covers the state mandated information and gives you updates in the law and any new case decisions that may impact your concealed carry privileges. TFA will insure you have current information and real world training in your qualification. Topics to be covered and trained are;
 
• Legal Updates and Changes in the Law.
• Safety and Storage
• Personal Protection vs. Property Protection.
• Not a LEO, No Duty to Act.
• Coming Into Contact With LEO While Armed.
• Situational Awareness Refresher.
• Qualification with Permit Listed Firearm(s)
 
This 4 hour class will cover these topics and provide you with the necessary documentation for the agency issuing the permit. All training is completed at the Safety First Shooters Association range located 15 minutes from Turlock, or may be instructed at a range near you. Please contact us for further information.
 
4 Hour Course - $60.00 per Student - 50 Rounds
 
Required Equipment -
Any semi-auto handgun of 9mm caliber or larger, or any revolver of .38 caliber or larger. No single action "Western/Cowboy" style revolvers please.
A minimum of two magazines or two speed loaders are required. Although more is always better.
A good holster and single or double magazine pouch or speed loader pouch. Strong side holsters please. No inside the waist band holsters, fanny packs, crossdraw or shoulder holsters please. The holster must have the ability to re-holster the handgun with one hand.
Eye and ear protection can be provided by Trident Firearms Academy if you do not have your own. Eye protection MUST be full wrap around style.
A ball cap or similar type cap with a brim is REQUIRED for safety reasons.
Good footwear that offers ankle support is recommended. No open toe shoes, sandals, etc. Knee pads are always a good thing.
Only long pants please. No shorts. We recommend cargo style pants like Blackhawk or 5.11 style or military BDUs with the bellow pockets to hold additional ammunition and equipment.
