Interested In Protecting Yourself and Your Loved Ones in Your Home But You Don't Own a Handgun? Think a Shotgun Won't Work in the Home Defense Arena? Learn How to Manipulate a Shotgun In The Close Confines Of Your Home or Business, and the Laws Pertaining To It's Use In Our Home Defense Shotgun Class. This Course Will Cover The Same Classroom Information as Home Defense Handgun, However Range Drills Will Deal With:

• Manipulation of the Shotgun in a Close Quarters
• Environment
• Indoor Ready Position
• Eyes, Muzzle, Target Position
• Under Arm Defense Position
• Weapon Retention
• Recommended Loads for the Home Defense Shotgun
• Combat 1 Emergency Reloads
• Related Equipment Issues 1 Needs
• Practical Experience and Drills on the Firing Range

4 Hour Class - 1 pm to 5 pm - $60.00 Per Student
 
* NOTE; If using a semi-auto shotgun, you will need “high base” rounds. Most semi-auto guns will not cycle low base shells. We would recommend the “Low Recoil” loads offered by the major manufactures for the 00 buck and Slug rounds, as it just takes more of the felt recoil out of the equation. Birdshot need only be #8 dove loads for training.

Eye and Ear protection is provided by Trident Firearms if you don not have your own. Eye protection MUST be full wrap around style.
 
A ball cap or similar type hat with a brim is REQUIRED.
 
Good footwear that offers ankle support is recommended. No open toe shoes, sandals, etc. Knee pads are always a good thing.
 
Any Semi-auto or Pump Shotgun. (No single shot, double barrel, or bolt action shotguns please)
